{"id":8,"date":"2016-04-19T03:35:03","date_gmt":"2016-04-19T03:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mentonegolfclub.com\/cms\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2025-11-06T08:21:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T21:21:38","slug":"membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mentonegolfclub.com\/cms\/membership\/","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you are passionate about golf, a regular player or just getting serious, a membership at Mentone Golf Club will improve your game by offering more playing opportunities at a friendly club with access to excellent facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From 1 Jan 2024, membership will only be granted to those committed to playing 18 holes on a regular basis and who have achieved a score of 120 or less for 18 holes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members are not eligible to play 9 holes within the first 12 months of joining the Club.&nbsp; However if a player becomes injured they can apply in writing to the Match Committee to become eligible for special consideration to play 9 holes during their injury but this would only be permitted if there are available 9 hole booking times within 2 days prior to the competition day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New members are required to have a GA number and handicap in order to play on competition days. If required, current members can assist in submitting qualifying rounds for a handicap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Play with a friendly bunch of experienced golfers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to Sandy Golf Links and practice facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test your skill in weekly competitions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in fun social events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make lifelong friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to our charity &#8211; Inclusion Melbourne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-5-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Full Member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Apply as a Full Member to receive access to competitions and events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>$180\/one off joining fee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>$180\/year<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Social Member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Are you no longer able to play golf but want to keep in touch?
