It threatened.  Then it capitulated.  Dark angry clouds retreated making way for our merry bunch of golfers to have a great morning out at Keysborough Golf Club. And what a turnout!   Some impressive scores were carded in a day perfect for golf.  That must surely be the buildup for the cheerful atmosphere during a lovely lunch catered and served by the efficient Keysborough staff.

Dress-up this year was a showcase of creativity, wit and humour as can be attested by the following photographs. Fairies in tinselled couture, with gold wands and cool sunnies. Smartly decked out Elves. These were among other cheery revellers in all manner of elaborate adornment.  The air was vibrant and the spirit joyous.

Again, the organising committee at Mentone Golf Club must be commended for a memorable end-of-year Christmas gathering of 2023.
