The day began with the greens and fairways sparkling with dew in the pink morning light. Beanies, hot coffee and hand-warmers were soon put away as the bluest of skies showed up for this second round of the President’s Trophy.  What a difference to the first round which was played under angry skies and (arguably) 3 hours of rain.  So delightful was the weather today that we saw 4 Laughing Kookaburra’s feeding on the 3rd fairway before being chased away by Spur-winged Plovers who were protecting their nests.  And, the injustice of it all, Viv Bolch lost her muesli bar to a thieving Raven.
