President’s Day – 23 Nov 2023

Today we observed a presidency handover. In-coming President Elaine Brennan and Club Captain Jenny Roberts paid tribute to out-going President Lynda Doutch.

Joining MGC in 2011 Lynda took on duties as Handicapper and VGL Delegate. Becoming VP in 2019 and later as President from 2022, she saw the club through the difficult Covid affected years and ensured that Mentone Golf Club maintained its vibrant and active self.

Lynda was involved in the jewellery business and so it was appropriately fun that members adorn themselves with bling in honour of Lynda and the occasion.

Well…. it was ‘Belles in Bling’ en force!
